| Subject | : | Involvement of Richard Bagnall at Global Crossing Project | ||
Dear Sir,
Fugro-Inpark (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) in partnership with T-Plan (Halle Belgium) has developed a prototype of a Geographical Information System for the Global Crossing PAN European Network in the period of May through July 1999. The GIS system had to be based on Model.it with the Smallworld environment.
During the development of this prototype the client wanted to have a Planning GIS developed, in order to have quick insight on the progress of rolling out the network, using Smallworld GIS as a tool. The tool enables presentation of overview maps of the network with progress reports along network routes, viewing data from the contractors summerised in tables.
Richard has been part of the project team of total six people and was added to the team for his Smallworld expertise in combination with his Model.it experience. It proved to be a very wise decision to have Richard on the team, since his contribution made it possible to deliver the required project in time and within the budget Best reference for this is made by the client himself in contributing to an article for our Fugro magazine which states:
It has been very pleasent to work with Richard, and we would not hesitate one moment to involve him in future projects if his expertise and knowledge would be required.

Yours sincerely, |
