I was reminded this morning on my way to work that Darwin's theory is not serving us sufficiently.

It seems that arrogant hard men from age 10 to 29 feel that their machismo is enough to protect them from oncoming cars, if they deliberately walk out into their path without warning. They expect the car to swerve or stop so that his majesty need not even break step to get to where he is going. I always do my best to oblige and help inflate their ego, more because I value my license and want to keep my car unblemished than because I want to preserve their miserable. inbred, zero IQ lives (less valuable to me than that of an amoeba).

One day, however, I fear that I or some other driver will fail to stop or swerve and the laws of physics will come into play. The combined mass of an over 1300kg car at 20/30mph with a (genuinely) hard exterior, will overcome the momentum of the less than 100kg chav travelling at negligible speed, with a soft exterior (in spite of attempts to appear "hard").

This will at the very least mean that the vehicle will have to be cleaned, but at worst the driver could lose their license or no claims bonus, in spite of the service they have performed for the greater good of the general public in removing the chav from the gene pool.
