I have developed a new website to help people find the cheapest petrol in their area. Inspired by the recent fuel concerns, the site is very new and has data mainly for the Cambridge area, but is aimed at the whole of the UK.

Sounds boring doesn’t it, but instead of trawling through lists of prices, you can use it with Google Earth ( http://earth.google.com A great piece of software in it’s own right) to bring up a map of prices ahead of setting out on your route.

Aimed primarily at taxi drivers (who maybe have the most to save by using it) anyone can use it. It’s free, but it relies on give and take. If no-one submits prices it won’t succeed. I’d love to see what London Cabbies would make of it. I hope you’ll be interested enough to take a look.
